| Long time no update. Lots of things have happened...nothing that I'm gonna put up on a public entry. People in my hall are cool...most of em anyways. Loud hall though...you can barely get any studying done cuz everyone's in the hall socializing. People make fun of me cuz I study a lot. Yeah...you heard me. ME! STUDYING! It's just cuz i study in the lounge while everyone else is playing video games. Everyone else who studies just stays in their room. The only reason they make fun of me is cuz I'm the only one they can see. So the people in my hall drink...a lot. Yesterday the RA's bf bought the hall drinks. Kinda weird, don't you think? Then at 2 in the morning u can hear and see people stumbling around the halls all drunk and crap. Eh whatever...they amuse me. As long as they don't mess up public areas like the bathrooms or the lounge, it's fine by me. Sigh....back to studying. | | |
| I updated yesterday, but it got erased, so quick recap. Went to this dance thingy for residents. It was alright, but different from Lowell dances. At Lowell, the cliques are all set and people dance with their friends and stuff. But here, guys just come up to u and start dancing. Weird, but whatever. I don't even know the names of the guys I danced with.
So last night I stayed up til 4 doing math, which wasn't even due today. See? Not procrastinating for once =D. But I got reallllly little sleep..only about 4 hours. And I got out of class at around 5ish.
But anyways, I'm enjoying college life. A lot more freedom and you get to meet so many new people. It's nice just being able to hang out with a bunch of people your age. It's sort of like one realllly big family. But yeah...off to dinner so I'll update more later. | | |
| So I haven't updated in a LONGGGGG while. I've been really busy just moving in and all that stuff. I'll try to recap the past week as well as I can, but I'm bound to forget some things.
On Saturday, I came down to Riverside. Woke up at 6 in the morning cuz I had an early flight. CHARLENE, HELEN, and DARRYL surprised me by showing up at my doorstep at 7 in the morning. And before I forget, I'd like to thank them for making it a special day. They woke up early on a SATURDAY (sooo not them) and brought me coffee and everything. THANKS you guys. I got really sad as my parents were driving me to the airport. Just thinking bout how I wouldn't be living in San Francisco and how I wouldn't be able to see my friends whenever I wanted to. But anyways, I got to Riverside and checked into my dorm. It was really busy and I had to rearrange my room and all that junk. Nothing too interesting. My roommate's name is Amy and we get along well, so it's cool.
I've been meeting LOTS of people since I came. I haven't really met anyone that I can REALLY talk to or anything, but it's a start. My hall's cool..always music and noise, but that's what makes it so interesting. The food's alright. I haven't really been using my meal plan wisely though. Been eating out as much as been eating at the dorms.
Crashed at my friend's appt for 2 nights...lol. Been there as much as been in the dorms. It just has a homier feeling. Yesterday some hallmates and I went on a Denny's run at 1 in the morning. OF ALL DAYS TO CLOSE EARLY FOR MAINTENANCE! GRRRRRRRRR. But yeah...that's all I can really remember for now. I just had my first class...2nd quarter calc which seems HARD AS HELL. I'm sooooo lost in that class. I guess I'll just hafta ask people for help! But anyways..I'll write more when something interesting happens. | | |

| So my comp has been sorta screwy lately...which is why you guys haven't seen me online so often. If you wanna talk to me though, it's called...CALL ME!!! So anyways, not much happening lately. The other day I went out with Diana...or well, she sort of showed up at my doorstep. Then we went to her friend's house and later got pho. Yesterday Diana and I went to eat Indian buffet at the place on 9th and Irving. Yum..Indian food. Today I'm off to Chevy's with Michelle and Cherry for my b-day. Sigh...just like the good old days. Birthday dinner on friday at around 7:00 at cote sud - 4238 18th st. Call me to tell me if you guys can make it. So few people are going..it's sad. We're already drifting =(.
Btw...got a new cell number. Ask me for it. My current one will be d/c at the end of this month.
So I'm leaving on Saturday and it's already Wednesday. I still haven't finished packing yet. Well, I've barely even started. So screwed...I really have to start. I'm not that excited to be going. It really doesn't make a difference to me. Iono..I guess I just don't really care. I'm not sure if it's because it hasn't hit me yet, or if it really is just because I don't give a d*mn.
Right now I'm looking for a new comp for college. I'm gonna buy it when I get there. I guess a desktop with a flat panel cuz parents won't get me a laptop. As you see, I ruin computers too easily for them to trust me with a laptop. But yeah...
Oh yes...so I found something out yesterday that pisses me off. As this is a public journal, I can't go into detail...but yeah. I'm sure you guys will find out soon enough who it's about at least. A friend just shouldn't make someone feel worse about themselves...what kind of friend is that? Well I know what I'm gonna do...maybe I'll end up backing out cuz I hate confrontations of all sorts, but iono..I just have to do this for myself. Get it over with..
But yeah..this will probably be my last entry for a couple days. Maybe not until after I'm long gone in Riverside. We'll see...but wish me luck in college. I'll need it.. | | |
